nightwalker
I pray to a god
you' ll never know
my footsteps leave a fiery glow
my eyes have seen
what you' ll never see
I am what you will never be
dark nights are my only home
restless wandering alone
in your dreams and through your mind
traces of me you' ll never find
but I am here and like a thief
I' ll take your thoughts and your belief
there' s no light where I reside
there' s a heart without a beat
icy tears are in my eyes
in my ears I hear the lies
have no fear the time will come
when I finally come home
