Mary - Ella

there was a girl called Mary - Ella..
who used to hide in the cellar..
she'd sit by wine and dine till noon..
with a knife, fork and spoon.

her hair was known throughout the land..
as big as big and twice the span..
4 foot long and 4 foot thick....
water hurt her not a bit..

her eyes were bright as like the butterfly...
they twinkled their wish to reach the sky..
but as the light and sun doth fled...
she'd sooner sleep and be off to bed

round and round and round the room,
riding on her magic broom..
look to the east,
look quite soon,
you'll see her shadow
on the moon
